Federico Nanni
I am a PhD Student in Science, Technology and Society at the University of Bologna. Previously I completed a Bachelor's degree on Italian Literature (2010) and a Master on Contemporary History (2013) at the same university.
My research is focused on the issues that arise when using born digital documents, especially websites, as primary sources. I am also interested in information retrieval, natural language processing, semantic web and, more generally, in every kind of computing technologies that could help historians in dealing with sources that are digitally created. The case study of my research is a historical reconstruction of the online presence of Italian universities.
